Yea, I admit beaches aren’t exactly a 100% fun guaranteed. My right headphone is still munted, and my back is char grilled. And so here I am, tuned to my nano with my one-piece functioning only headphones, sitting before my laptop.
Spm kids are done with. Yay for them.
It’s scary, how it’s already been a year. Time flies. I’ve made so many new friends just being away from home for 10 months, and it’s astonishing how such a short period of time can change someone so dramatically.
After being sent away from home for nearly a year, Stephanie, once being incapable of undertaking many, many, many tasks, is now a changed woman, girl, kid, lady, girl.
Not only can she iron her clothes (oh yes), she now has mastered the art of taking the public transport.
She is competent in walking back from school when the weather permits.
Stephanie has also gone through an almighty improvement- emerging from someone of zero sense of direction, to someone who knows NOT only the names of various streets, but also WHERE bouts it is located. Such a remarkable accomplishment.
She is also able to identify the difference between Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese- one mission she found ridiculously complex when she first arrived in NZ.
Mom will be so proud.
18 hours to go, 1080 minutes, 64800 seconds.
I really should start packing.
